Randall graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University in 1974 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. In 1977 he graduated Cum Laude with his Juris Doctorate degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University.
Randall is the author of Passenger Negligence: Utah Law on Comparative Negligence, Liability, and Insurance Coverage for Motor Vehicle Passengers (Utah Trial Journal, Utah Trial Lawyers Association, Spring, 2006). He has also authored Auto Accidents Involving Minors: Applicable Standards of Care (Utah Trial Journal, Utah Trial Lawyers Association, Summer, 2006) and Negligent Entrustment and “Key-Left-in-the-Ignition:” Bases for Auto Owner Non-Imputed Liability in Utah,” (Utah Trial Journal, Utah Association for Justice, Winter 2007).
During his legal career, Randall has provided pro bono legal advice for senior citizens. His personal interests include the symphony, opera, ballet, quantum and astro physics, and walking. His passion is solo vocal performance at numerous local venues.
