Paul obtained his bachelor’s degree in family and consumer studies from the University of Utah in 1992. He graduated with his Juris Doctorate degree in 1995 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He is an Eagle Member of the Utah Association for Justice.
Paul is active in community issues where he volunteers much of his time. Between 2000 and 2004, he served as a member of the Cottonwood Heights Community Council. In 2004 he was also honored with the Outstanding Community Service Award.
